Devolver Digital unveiled The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood on the 28th and announced the expected release date. Coming out later this year to the PC and Nintendo Switch platforms, Sisters of Heaven is developed by narrative-focused indie game developer Deconstructeam.
The Sisters of Heavenly Wheels tells the story of Fortuna, a witch who is in exile in the asteroid belt, and Fortuna, who longs for freedom, and Abramar, an ancient forbidden creature that can create magical tarot cards. The game starts with a contract between the two, and players can create their own unique tarot card deck through Abrama.
These cards, which are designed by users themselves, become an important factor in determining the direction and fate of various characters they meet while progressing through the story according to their characteristics and abilities. Through the game’s self-created decks, players can explore complex stories spanning decades and encounter stories of individual identity, community, and personal responsibility.
