Asunción, IP Agency.- According to the report from the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), the construction of the bridge that will connect the Isla Porã indigenous community with the PY13 route in the department of Caaguazú is progressing at a good pace. The work is 40 percent complete in its general execution.
Currently, the head of the bridge is being completed by pouring concrete in its final stage. At the same time, concrete is being loaded for the intermediate frame. Another significant achievement is the loading of 70% of the embankment, which represents substantial progress in land preparation.
The structure, which will consist of two sections of 6 meters each, totaling 12 meters in length, began in April of this year. The work is expected to be completed by the end of March 2025, meeting the estimated execution period of 9 months.

Initially designed as a single-lane bridge, the project contemplates the possibility of a future expansion to two lanes, adapting to the future needs of the area.
