In recent days, persistent rumors have been suggesting a simultaneous launch of the Galaxy S24 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 at the end of October. Rumors that German journalist Roland Quandt has just contradicted. The particularly active informant on X/Twitter has indeed just revealed that Samsung could postpone its event later this month, with a presentation planned for September 26, 2024. An early release that would precede Apple’s announcements expected this fall.
By choosing to unveil the Galaxy Tab S10 at the end of September, Samsung is not only aiming to position itself against an iPad mini 7 that, according to rumors, could be unveiled in October, but also to capture the market’s attention before Black Friday and the end-of-year holidays. Samsung is thus avoiding a direct clash with the Californian company, while offering its users a product available well before the excitement of Tim Cook’s announcements.

Other recent leaks suggest few design changes, with thin bezels and a bulky form factor. The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, with a 14.6-inch display and a notch, and the S10+, with a 12.4-inch display and no notch, could feature two USB-C ports and an optional keyboard with a key for AI features. Samsung could also look to a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC and 45W fast charging.
On the other hand, with no mention of a standard Galaxy Tab S10, Sansung seems to be focusing on its Plus and Ultra versions. The prices mentioned put the Galaxy Tab S10+ at €1,119 in its wifi version and €1,269 for the 5G model, while the S10 Ultra would start at €1,339, going up to €1,909 in the 5G variant with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
