Opposite the German press agency he now revealed the reason for this. “My father’s generation wore hats like these, Borsalinos, and that has always fascinated me. You will hardly meet me in private without some kind of hat, to the chagrin of my wife,” explained the star, who has been married to the singer Elke Best since 1982. The star incorporated this endearing “quirk” into his TV character out of his personal preference.

The current episode of “The Zurich Crime” ran on Thursday, October 26th and was titled “Borchert and Murder Without Atonement”. The crime thriller was shown for the first time in prime time at 8:15 p.m. In it, the lawyer reopens an old case to solve the mysterious death of a young woman.
