Dutch seismologist Frank Hoogerbietz has reignited controversy on social media following a recent post in which he predicted a devastating earthquake of great strength.
Hogrebets said in a post on his official account on the “X” platform: “Shape (M) represents a strong earthquake. The specific areas of its occurrence are approximate.”
In another post, the seismologist conveyed the warning of the Geological Service SSGEOS, which he belongs to, on “X”, which stated: “Very strong fluctuations. The strength of the seismic activity can reach 7.5 degrees or more.”
Hogrebets also mentioned the SSGEOS warning that “the conjunction of Mars, Mercury and Jupiter on September 22 might lead to a strong earthquake later on September 23 or 24.”
Hogrebets had previously warned of the possibility of devastating earthquakes, most notably the earthquake that struck Turkey on February 6, which left more than 50,000 dead and tens of thousands injured, as he expected this to happen 3 days ago.
