Midfielder Konstantin Kerschbaumer will leave Bundesliga club WAC and continue his career at second division club SV Stripfing. A Stripfing spokesman confirmed the 32-year-old’s transfer on Thursday evening. Kershbaumer moved to Wolfsburg in the summer of 2022 from the then German second division club Heidenheim. The Lower Austria native played a total of 36 official games for the WAC, but he was already on the sidelines last season.
Before joining the German team, Kershbaumer also played for Brentford in the English second division. His experience in various leagues will undoubtedly benefit his new club as they aim for success in the upcoming season.
