On the 15th, Lee Da-young posted an illustration of a person holding a picket with ‘#Me Too’ written on her Instagram account. She is Lee Da-young. Along with the photo, she wrote, ‘I waited until the end to offer a sincere apology and reflection, but now I have no legs to turn back.’ Although she did not specify her opponent, her revelations were expected to be directed at Kim Yeon-kyung, with whom she has been feuding to this day.
Lee Da-young tagged the Korea Sports Council Sports Ethics Center and the National Human Rights Commission of Korea in the post and announced that she would file a complaint with the relevant organizations.
Last month, Lee Da-young reported Kim Yeon-kyung to the Korean Volleyball Federation (KOVO) Player Grievance Center and posted a message saying, “I look forward to a fair judgment and investigation from KOVO.”
However, no actual investigation was conducted because the materials Lee Da-young submitted in her report to KOVO were one-sided claims or lacked credibility.
Da-young Lee has been claiming sexual harassment and abuse of power in the workplace by Kim Yeon-kyung since 2021. She has been posting revelations one following another, but there has been no response from Kim Yeon-kyung’s side.
Meanwhile, in February 2021, Lee Da-young was found to have committed school violence during his school days, and was suspended indefinitely from Heungkuk Life Insurance Pink Spider, his team at the time, and was effectively expelled from the V-League.
