Not vaccinated, the French singer Zaz is forced to cancel her next shows in Quebec, due to the sanitary measures still applied in Canada.
“My dear Quebec cousins, I announce with great sadness that unfortunately I could not come and honor my concerts scheduled for September due to the health measures still in effect in Canada”, wrote the singer on her social networks.
It should be noted that entry into Canada remains prohibited to foreign nationals who are not adequately vaccinated. However, the singer has made the decision not to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
“I have not taken a position until then, because having contracted several times [la] COVID, I didn’t need to write to you and above all I felt that it was not the right time for me to express myself. In addition, I have managed to do all the dates since last March internationally by showing my credentials (repeated PCR test and isolation), “added Zaz, who says he has gone out of his way to try to to have an authorization to come to Canada, but in vain.
“We are actively working with our team on site to soon announce postponement dates to September 2023”, finally concluded the one which was to occur in Saguenay, Quebec, Montreal and Trois-Rivières at the end of September.
