A surreal story recently posted on a Reddit “relationship advice” forum quickly went viral following a user publicly shared his terminally ill wife’s “last wish”: to have sexual intercourse. Last time with your ex.

For The reason

The individual claims to feel “shattered” because his wife has a terminal illness and his life expectancy is “at most 9 months.” The marriage has been together for 10 years and he says “he doesn’t remember life without her and he doesn’t know what he’s going to do once he’s gone.”

“Doctors said she’ll probably need a wheelchair in regarding 4-5 months, and then by the 8th month she’ll be bedridden for her last few weeks. That is, if she doesn’t get worse faster, ”says the husband.

Likewise, the man affirms that he is doing “everything possible” so that his last days are good and grant him everything he might wish for. However, the request made by his partner was not expected: “Recently he sat me down and told me that one of the last things he wanted to do was have sex with an ex. Of course, she surprised me and when I asked her why the hell she wants that, basically she thinks the most physically compatible and satisfying lover of hers was him. She gave me a whole monologue regarding how sex is sometimes just physical and how emotionally satisfying sex with me is, but it sucked to get to that point.”

Now the future widower is torn between “denying my dying wife a wish for my own ego, or letting her go fuck another man she feels is better. Honestly, I feel very angry and betrayed that she asked me to do this. I feel like I’m in a position where I have to say yes because she’s dying.”
