A police officer on a bicycle and a woman on a “motorized” suitcase staged a curious scene at the Orlando Airport (Florida, United States) when, following a small altercation, the agent had to follow her through the terminal.
The images, recorded by the uniformed camera and published by the local media Click Orlandoshow the woman, Chelsea Alston, 32riding away on her luggage following being denied access to the plane apparently for being intoxicated.
Alston, visibly upset by what happened, started swearing and acting rude as she walked away, prompting the officer to go following her.
“We’re going to have a bike chasing a suitcase in a minute,” said the police officer, who was surprised at the speed that the woman reached on the suitcase. “Wow, that thing goes fast.” reacted.
And all while the laughter of the passengers sitting waiting for the departure of their flight can be heard at the curious situation that they are witnessing. The officer finally found Alston in one of the airport train cars and tried to reason with her, but since the woman did not come to her senses and even spit on the agent, as seen in the video, he decided to stop her.
Shortly before, the Orlando policeman, named Andrew Mamone, had recommended that she go back to the terminal, “recover a little sobriety” and get another flight to New York, the destination of her trip, but the woman ended up in jail .
According to court documents to which the outlet had access, Alston was accused of beating the police officer and causing nearly $1,200 worth of damage to the patrol car, and if convicted, she might face a maximum sentence of five years in prison for each of these two crimes.
