Quite unusual events always happen all over the world of sport.
The kind of video and story where you say to yourself: well, let’s see?
It is often in lesser-known leagues that funny, ridiculous and even sometimes frightening and dangerous events take place.
In hockey, it’s usually in garage leagues, but sometimes it also happens in professional leagues, as was unfortunately the case with the Adam Johnson incident.
More recently, it was even at the minor level, in a children’s hockey league, that a tragic story occurred, when an 11-year-old boy died following receiving a puck in the throat.
Our condolences once once more to the family and loved ones of the victim.
And if we stay at the minor level, well, yesterday, in Russia, we were treated to a scene that was unusual to say the least, when the coach of a minor team beat up a coach of the opposing team in front of the children .
Here is the scene.
UPDATE ????
Per the team, Pavel Platonov has been suspended from work, and in the coming days the employment relationship with him will be terminated.

We can see Pavel Platonov beating Nikita Larionov, while the match is in progress between the Soviet Wings and the Red Machine Junior.
The young children are in shock, but immediately following the altercation, the match resumes as if nothing had happened.
We do not know the nature and reason behind this altercation, but from what we know, it all started with a verbal altercation.
Obviously, the team of the coach in question has declared that there will be sanctions, but that first of all the coach’s point of view will be listened to, and that there will be an investigation into the situation, being given that this clearly didn’t happen out of nowhere.
The investigation will reveal the causes of the fight.
It also became known that Platonov would have been suspended from work, and in the coming days he would even be fired.
Here is his official apology (translated).

Am I the only one who thinks he apologizes to everyone except the man he beat up?
Anyway, it’s a pretty crazy story that happened yesterday in Russia in a minor league game.
It’s pretty crazy to think that adults can’t control themselves, especially in front of children.

After a slow start that saw Yegor Sharangovich bounce between the first and fourth line, he potted his sixth goal in five games to prove to the Flames that maybe, just maybe, they hit the jackpot with his trade. (@EricFrancis)

As the NHL has evolved, changes to the rules, equipment and play style have led to lower overall save percentages. These lower numbers have been affecting some teams and players more than others.
