And what is above all very serious is that to be interested in Pegasus, we see that there has been an infiltration of secret services within the European institutions. Therein lies the real scandal,” points out Christophe Marchand.
And according to Sven Mary, “the federal prosecutor’s office opted for another direction of the investigation, allowing it to show the whole world that Belgium does not allow itself to be faced with white-collar criminals. Eva Kaili represented the perfect character for this scenario. She occupied an important place within a European institution. She enjoyed a great reputation, a great career.”
