There is definitely no certainty to be had when we talk about the weather. A few hours ago, the analysis was clear: autumn was back and temperatures were not going to exceed 11 or 12 degrees during the day while the nights were going to be cold everywhere in Belgium. “We were treated to the first frosts in the Ardennes during the night of Saturday and Sunday, and more generally during the night from Sunday to Monday,” confirms Pascal Mormal, meteorologist at IRM. However, the European model still provides for a certain degree of mildness, between 14 and 17 degrees. “With the American model, softness would be pushed back to the Paris region. The European center model maintains, for the moment, milder temperatures around 14-16°C this weekend and no frost. For the moment, I would say it is 60/40, 60 for mildness and 40 for freshness for the weekend, but the uncertainty is great,” he explains.
We will therefore have to monitor the situation in the coming days to best prepare for our weekend activities. And even if it were to be cold, the overall trend remains mild for the end of October and the month of November. “Models are still calling for unsettled weather and temperatures slightly above seasonal averages for late fall.”
