Unprecedented damage in Hod Hasharon: about 100 houses were damaged by the Iranian missile attack

Following the Iranian missile attack on Israel yesterday (Tuesday) evening, the city of Hod Hasharon suffered significant damage that caused unprecedented damage.

In a situation assessment conducted at night with the commander of the Home Front Command, Major General Rafi Milo, it was discovered that about 100 houses were damaged in the rounds of the nearby Haf, while some of the damage is expected to require a long time to repair. In addition, dozens more houses were affected in secondary circuits.

Despite the seriousness of the injury and the great potential for injury to human life, fortunately for everyone the incident ended without physical injuries. The municipality’s teams worked during the night to map the damages and provide an initial response to the residents, including placing guards on the streets from which residents were evacuated. The property tax team began an initial damage assessment, and the sanitation teams worked on removing trash and debris in preparation for the holiday.

The municipality continues intensive activity to help the affected families before and during the holiday. At the same time, scans continue to locate intercepted parts in the area of ​​the girl’s house. Residents are asked to report to the municipal hotline any suspected fallout or remnants of interceptions.

It should be noted that yesterday the “personal message” system of the Home Front Command was activated for the first time, which sent alerts to mobile phones even before the alarm sounded. The residents are asked to treat these messages as an alarm for everything and to act in accordance with the directives of the Home Front Command.
