They arrested a false doctor who worked at a hospital in Capilla del Señor
Agents of the Argentine Federal Police arrived at a home in the Buenos Aires town of San Francisco Solano with an arrest warrant signed by the Campana Federal Court, in charge of Judge Adrián González Charvay. They were looking for NG, a 43-year-old woman accused of illegally practicing medicine.
The procedure was carried out by members of the Anti-Fraud Division of the Superintendence of Federal Investigations this Tuesday morning and was positive: the suspect was detained and, in addition, allegedly false license plates, photocopies of university degrees and stamps were found at the scene. of various specialties, among other types of material that are being analyzed.
Sources in the case told Infobae that the investigation into NG began several months ago, when the director of a municipal health center in the town of Capilla del Señor, in the Exaltación de la Cruz district, detected some irregularities in different documents presented by a woman who was already working at the hospital. She worked as a clinical doctor.
Specifically, suspicion arose around the account data provided by this employee, where her salary was deposited monthly: that account belonged to another woman with a similar name. This aroused the concern of the hospital authorities, who decided to analyze in greater detail all the information that NG had provided. Thus, they detected other inconsistencies that led to the assumption that much of the documentation was trout.

Faced with this situation, the medical director of the hospital appeared at the headquarters of the Federal Court of Campana and filed a complaint. Judge González Charvay delegated the investigation to the aforementioned division of the PFA and the detectives were able to verify that the documentation was indeed false and that the suspect was not a doctor and was posing as another person.
Once identified, the police went for NG. In the search of her home, they seized four license plates, six photocopies of university degrees and 14 prescriptions with stamps from different doctors and specialties such as clinical, infectious disease and surgery.
They also found syringes, scalpels and other supplies, stethoscopes, bags for distributing solutions, medications, boxes of face masks and the clothing usually used by doctors: two were found, both complete, and a jacket.
During the raid on the defendant’s house, six photocopies of university degrees were found.
The accused, whose cell phone was also seized, was notified of the case once morest her and transferred to a cell at the Central Police Department. There she was lodged at the disposal of the intervening Court.
Meanwhile, the investigation of the case continues, since although NG was currently unemployed, it is suspected that she had worked as a doctor and nurse in other healthcare centers.
In April of this year, the PFA had already arrested another false doctor who, in her case, was practicing illegally in two offices in the Buenos Aires city of Guernica, in President Perón’s party.

The woman was identified as MT, a resident of the town of San Justo, 61 years old and of Bolivian nationality. Her arrest occurred following a complaint of usurpation of title: she was accused of serving under the name, registration and title of a professional from whom she had stolen her personal data. Her victims, according to sources in the case, were patients from a low-income area.
In the raids on the health centers where she operated, investigators found dozens of medical care files in which the name of the accused appears in her handwriting, who presented herself as a specialist in obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics and general clinic.
Precisely, MT was arrested when she was treating a patient posing as an obstetrician.
