In Chelyabinsk, on November 17, the Ural Geek Fest, a festival of geek culture and cosplay, will take place at the Pobeda cinema. According to the organizers, an updated program with many master classes, competitions and trainings is planned for the event. The announcement also announced the appearance of a festival quest.
“Ural Geek Fest is becoming cooler than ever. We are very proud of the scale we create for you! What’s new in the program: an increased number of master classes, sweepstakes and interactive events, a quest around the festival, during which you will need to complete tasks and receive prizes. There will also be training from the project psychologist. It will help you cope with your worries before the performance,” reports the “Ural Geek Fest November 17” group on the VKontakte social network.
The festival will retain the format of the cosplay show, which includes showing a preview video of the participants on the silver screen, a fashion show and a costume review. Fans of comics and animation will be able to enjoy hits on the big screen, as well as visit a large fair and take part in competitions with prizes. Tickets will go on sale soon, and prices start from 800 rubles for guests and 450 rubles for participants in the competition program.
