Are you looking for a phone with fast charging at a low price? The Infinix Note 30 VIP has you covered. It offers a 68W wired charging solution, which is among the fastest in its class, but also 50W wireless charging, which is unparalleled at its price.
Infinix 68W wall charger and 50W wireless charger
The Note 30 VIP’s predecessor, the Note 12 VIP, had considerably faster 120W wired charging, but the 30 VIP goes for a more balanced approach, where you don’t need a cable for fast charging. It’s one of the few phones to have wireless charging in the first place in the sub-$300 category, let alone one that fast.

That’s why we thought we’d run our usual load tests and see if Infinix can hit its lofty goals. It is important to mention that to reach the maximum wireless speed, you would need the proprietary 67W charging brick, which you must purchase separately (a 15W wireless charger is included in the retail package ). On the other hand, the wall charger is included and it supports Power Delivery over PPS. The charger offers 5V/2A, 11V/6.2A or 4-21V/3.25A for a maximum power rating of 68W.
Without further ado, here’s how the Note 30 VIP compares to the similarly priced competition when it comes to charging. We haven’t included wireless timings for the rest because they just don’t support it.
As you can see, the Infinix Note 30 VIP is not the fastest smartphone in its category, but it is certainly among the best. It’s only minutes away from the Poco X5 Pro and it’s just as fast as the Redmi Note 12 Pro, both with 67W charging solutions.
However, when it comes to wireless charging, we were surprised how close it comes to wired charging. The 50W wireless charger is just one percentage point behind the 67W wired charger on the 15-minute and 30-minute marks. The gap is widening over time, but just barely. So if you’re looking for a budget phone and love wireless charging, this is definitely worth considering.
