What latest technologies can small and medium-sized businesses leverage to take the plunge into digitalization and become greener? Our journalist Chris Burns went to the Huawei Connect 2023 show at Paris Expo to find out more.
According to Dries Acke, a keynote speaker and policy director at SolarPower Europe, renewable energy is growing and becoming smarter due to improved integration of systems, networks, storage and batteries.
Chris toured the show’s exhibitors with Kenneth Fredriksen, Senior Vice President of Huawei Europe, who introduced him to key digital solutions for SMEs, including energy, retail, transportation and manufacturing.
Among them, we discover how automatic guided vehicles (AGV) allow better movement in warehouses. We’ll also look at retail, where barcode readers and screens are built into shopping carts and product labels on shelves can be updated with just a few clicks using an app.
At one of the exhibitors at the show specializing in artificial intelligence, Chris poses to create his avatar, which is then coupled with another avatar in the system.
