In exhibition halls 20 and 21, 344 exhibitors (2023: 341 exhibitors) from various fields will be providing information on the topics of education and career choice on over 22,500 m². The 35th “Youth & Career” is the ideal place for young people to discover their own interests and talents,” says WKOÖ President Doris Hummer, calling on all young people and their parents to obtain extensive information and get one or two tips on choosing a career and education.
The highlights of this year’s Youth & Career:
- 344 exhibitors will present themselves with living workshops and numerous highlights.
- Selfie Point:
The Selfie Point as part of the 35th anniversary of the “Youth & Career” trade fair. Here, visitors can take a selfie and take it home with them – as a souvenir of the day at the “Youth & Career” trade fair. - DIGI trade fair in new splendour
The DIGI fair is the perfect complement to the face-to-face fair, especially in the preparation phase (62 preparatory workshops in schools). - Due to the high demand last year, there will again be the “Application Photo Corner” in front of Hall 21. Young people can take professional application photos and take them home with them.
- “Personal Favorites”
Trade fair visitors can scan a QR code at the exhibition stands and save their relevant information. Visitors can view all exhibitors digitally (DIGI Messe) and then go to their favorites at the physical trade fair. - Interactive exhibition plan
A “filter system” enables the specific search for exhibitors according to personal interests and preferences (jugendundberuf.info). - Side events with new location
This year, the side events will be offered in the foyer of Hall 21. New lectures on the topics of “Career profiles” and “Live your talent – the apprenticeship” ideally complement the fair. - Healthy snack
This year, visitors to the fair will receive free apples. - Public transportation
Free shuttle service:
This year there will again be a free shuttle service between Wels main station and the Wels exhibition center. This means that you can make the most of public transport. The transport network will also be strengthened. - Playme Messe Rallye:
The Playmit trade fair rally is played as a scavenger hunt directly at the “Youth & Career” trade fair. Visitors can enter the rally using QR codes, answer questions about the exhibitors and win great prizes.
Free preparatory workshops from the WKOÖ for school classes
This year, there will again be preparatory courses for school classes either directly at the schools or digitally. Interested schools or teachers can still register. 1,550 students have already registered.

Visiting the trade fair is free of charge and a free transfer from Wels main station to the exhibition grounds is also available to trade fair visitors.
