Unlicensed Practitioner Arrested in Harris County: How to Verify a Professional Doctor in Texas

HOUSTON – It happened again in Harris County: another person was arrested for alleged illegal medical practice.

In particular, to carry out alleged cosmetic work by injecting a substance that could be Botox into several patients.

Dustin Moore also known as “Mr. Injectable” was arrested at the clinic where he worked, court documents indicate that in February 2024 Moore allegedly used a medical syringe to apply an unknown substance not approved by the FDA to a woman’s rear, which similar to Botox.

They also single him out for not being a medical professional authorized or certified to perform this procedure.

The accused has a criminal record for similar cases, as at least three women have accused him of the same crime. It is believed that there may be more victims.

Moore faces three felony counts of causing bodily harm by the unlicensed practice of medicine and one count of aggravated assault.

In 2006, he was charged with theft between $30,000 and $150,000, assault with intent to stop a family member from breathing and driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

The judge set bail at $140,000 on the four charges, and some of his conditions are that he cannot perform medical procedures and must not have contact with the people who complained. Moore remains in the Harris County Jail.
