In the camera segment, the Galaxy M55 stands out with a 50MP main camerawhich promises sharp, detail-rich photos, as well as a 8MP ultrawide camera for captures with a wider viewing angle and even a 2MP macro. The front camera stands out even more, it is difficult to see a 50 MP sensor in selfies.

Opinion: The Galaxy M55 is positioned as a competent mid-range option. We saw a reduction in battery life, but I believe that the new processor balances performance and battery savings. Its camera set is versatile and I was surprised by the use of a 50MP sensor for selfies. A good competitor to the A55.

Combined with this, the Galaxy A55 offers options for 8GB RAM and 128GB, 8GB RAM e 256GB or 12GB RAM and 256GBproviding ample space to store photos, videos and install a vast amount of applications without worrying about lack of space.
For photography enthusiasts, the Galaxy A55 has not changed its lenses compared to its predecessor. It has a 50 MP main cameracomplemented by a 12MP ultrawide lensbesides a 5MP macro sensor. For selfies, the device offers a 32 MP sensor, allowing you to capture high-quality images.
The A55’s screen is a highlight in itself. Now with 6.6 inch Super AMOLED screen offers a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 120Hz refresh ratepromising fluid and detailed images. The screen also has a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, ensuring good visibility even in bright light.
As for the battery, the smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh unitincluding support for 25W chargingwhich represents a standard in the industry today. For an audio experience, the device has stereo speakers, although it does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. In addition, it offers IP67 water protectionensuring resistance to temporary immersion.
Usage opinion: The Galaxy A55 proved to be a mid-range smartphone that balances performance, camera features and battery life well, although with some limitations typical of the category. Samsung kept the same camera sensors but the photos are slightly better, especially with improvements in image quality and reduced forced sharpness, favoring more natural and visually pleasing photos.
The upgrade in the processor and overall performance, especially in games, is notable and makes the A55 a robust option for the mid-range segment. The screen, despite being larger, has maintained the resolution of the previous model, which may not please everyone, but it still delivers satisfactory quality with good visibility in outdoor environments.
Finally, the design and construction of the device do not present major innovations, following Samsung’s line of continuity, but this does not take away from the merit of the solid construction and resistance to elements such as water and dust.
