What is the Stamps Scholarship?

The Stamps Scholarship is awarded by the University of Miami, in partnership with the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation, to high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional academic performance.

To apply for this scholarship you must have excellent grades and be willing to participate in additional selection processes such as essay writing and academic interviews.

What expenses does the scholarship cover?

  • Tuition and fees coverage.
  • On-campus accommodation.
  • Food.
  • Health insurance.
  • Textbooks.
  • Laptop allowance.
  • Access to a $12,000 enrichment fund that can be used for study abroad, undergraduate research, unpaid internships, and other educational purposes, with prior official approval.

Available courses and requirements

The degrees available at the University of Miami are related to the following areas of study: Arts and Humanities; Natural Sciences, Exact Sciences and Computer Sciences; Social Sciences; Administration and Law; Education; Engineering; Manufacturing, Construction and Health.

  • Be a senior in high school.
  • Apply to the University of Miami through Early Decision I or Early Action.
  • Complete all First-Year Admission Requirements by November 1.
  • Mastery of the English language.

How to apply for this scholarship

Applicants must register before November 1, 2024. They must first register, pay a $70 application fee, and submit a 250-word essay.

In this document, the applicant must explain why he or she wants the scholarship to study at the University of Miami. The results of the call for applications will be announced in early March 2025.
