DUBAI, 14th June, 2020 (WAM) — The University of Dubai honored the university’s honor list students for the academic year 2021/2022. They are 49 students with distinction with honors, including 27 students from the Dubai Business School and 22 students from the College of Engineering and Information Technology, in the presence of the president. The university, Dr. Hussein Al-Ahmad, Vice President for Academic Affairs, deans of the faculties of engineering and information technology, members of the academic and administrative staff, and Haitham Al-Muaini, Director of Student Affairs and Outstanding Students.
His Excellency Dr. Issa Al Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai, affirmed the university’s keenness on the quality of education, which it considers one of its priorities and primary goals, and its keenness to create a distinguished and multidisciplinary future educational environment capable of providing government and private institutions with a selection of the best and most efficient specialists, to contribute to the renaissance of the country and protect its gains.
He stressed the university’s keenness to pay attention to all students, especially the outstanding ones, pointing out that excellence is a characteristic of the student, whether in the university period or following graduation.
He pointed out that the outstanding students are the hope and the future or “X10”, an initiative that is considered among the best initiatives of the Dubai government, and that the future projects that are implemented in the areas of sustainability, innovation, fifth mountain networks, metaverse and other advanced projects come within this framework.
