Universitario is the new leader of the Apertura by beating Cienciano 3-0

Nobody for University. Tonight for the first date of the Opening of League 1, which was suspended, they beat Cienciano del Cusco 3-0, and achieved their fourth consecutive victory, which allows them to momentarily move to the lead with 15 points. The match played at the Estadio Monumental de Ate, which was impressively full, was largely dominated by the creams.

Barely 13′ into the game, Argentine forward Emanuel Herrera took advantage of a good service from Piero Quispe to send the ball into goalkeeper Vargas’ net, and put the meringues ahead.

The tally rose to 26′ when the Uruguayan Luis Urruti was well qualified by the Chilean Ureña, and with a good shot he beat Vargas, and established the partial 2-0.

For the complement, the Cienciano technician, Leonel Álvarez, sent three changes seeking to improve production, but none of this happened.

On the contrary, the “U” kept looking for another goal, and got it at 56′ thanks to Piero Quispe’s action, who defined with quality for the final 3-0 and the top of the Apertura.
