Throughout the post-election week, the University Council of the Universidad de Los Andes has held extraordinary virtual meetings, evaluating the conditions for the resumption of academic and administrative activities, maintaining the integrity of the Ulandinos as a priority.
In the evaluation carried out this Friday, August 2, the decision was to maintain the suspension of activities until further notice, except for those strictly necessary, as established by the regulations, such as internships, surveillance, health and rescue, among others.
They have also agreed to reschedule the graduation ceremonies scheduled for August 9.
However, anyone who wishes to collect their degree without waiting for the new date may do so on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 August at the Degree Office.
The meetings took into account the impossibility of many students who traveled to their places of origin to exercise their right to vote, as well as the difficulties in the public transportation service to return to Mérida, or the headquarters of the nuclei.
