The peak of the 2024 Indonesian Cultural Harmony Festival (FHBN) which took place for three days from September 5 to September 7, 2024 in Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan in order to welcome human and cultural development in the Indonesian Capital (IKN) as a manifestation of cultural harmony was officially closed on Saturday night (7/9).
The series of supporting events in the form of workshops, seminars, cultural festivals and parades, exhibitions, traditional game competitions, performances of various dances and music, and film screenings reflect the implementation of the 2024 FHBN which is actualized through the process of socio-cultural interaction through local and national cultural tradition spaces, as well as work ethic and mutual cooperation.

Deputy for Mental Revolution Coordination, Cultural Advancement and Sports Achievement of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK) Warsito said that the 2024 FHBN Series is a strategic momentum to raise the spirit of collective Mental Revolution change.
“Primarily in order to build the character of society, strengthen the national identity, and strengthen national identity through the application of the values of integrity, work ethic, and mutual cooperation which are the noble values of our nation,” he said in a statement on Sunday (8/9).

“Penajam Paser Utara Regency with its current potential is expected to be ready to become the new IKN area of Indonesia, and become a buffer area, a partner of the Archipelago City, a partner of the future capital city of Indonesia, and also as the porch of the Archipelago City,” he added.
He also hopes to make FHBN an important momentum to continue developing the potential of national culture and make it a source of pride and a glue for national unity.
“With the existence of FHBN, it is hoped that it will further strengthen the culture that grows and develops around the Capital City of the Archipelago, and become a force for Indonesian cultural diplomacy in the international world,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, as the host of FHBN 2024, the Acting Regent of Penajam Paser Utara is proud to have been appointed as the host for the second time.
“Let us care for and maintain this Republic, within the framework of the harmony of the archipelago, we see the diverse cultures that exist here, as a form of responsibility to maintain and preserve the heritage of our ancestors.
