During the Hot Pod Summit, an event dedicated to podcasts, YouTube announced plans to launch podcasts on the YouTube Music app.
The director of YouTube podcasts, Kai Chuk, however specified that this novelty will initially concern only the United States.
Moreover, always at the beginning, only the audio tracks will be available on the application, since the video will not be supported.
Finally, this novelty should be monetized through audio advertisements that will be integrated into podcasts.
