Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte declared a statewide natural disaster on Tuesday following days of record-breaking rainfall caused unprecedented flooding, mudslides and rockfalls in the Yellowstone National Park area. The record flooding and rockslides prompted park officials to close all five entrances to the park on Tuesday.
Yellowstone for the first time since the catastrophic fires that ravaged the area in 1988.
