United States 3-0 Colombia: Goals, summary and result

Colombia suffers but the United States does not specify

The United States set the conditions during the first 45 minutes of the game and its addition. Colombia tried to defend itself and propose to be able to attack, but it did not consolidate any idea, nor did it arrive clearly. The North Americans found themselves with a strong defensive line, with some errors and with a top-level goalkeeper who avoided partial victory on three direct occasions.

In Colombia’s defensive zone, the one with the most work, Daniela Arias was the key player, winning balls in the air, in heads-up play and in speed. Mónica Ramos managed to intervene in two actions and the wings have contributed, but have suffered with the speed of the United States players. The great figure of the visitors was the goalkeeper Catalina Pérez who managed to avoid the penalty charged by Horan, and two shots directed at the goal by Sullivan and Pugh.

For its part, the United States, with the conditions of the match in hand, managed to carry out several collective actions, but without the usual effectiveness. Pugh, Smith, Hatch and Horan tried with all kinds of shots, corner kicks, but luck was on the visitors, who managed to control the game proposed by their rivals, but with a scoreless scoreline.
