New revelations from two Downing Street parties
The newspaper “The Telegraph” revealed Thursday evening that two parties took place in Downing Street in full containment, on the eve of the funeral of Prince Philip.

Staff working at UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s office at 10 Downing Street held a party in lockdown and on the eve of Prince Philip’s funeral, says Thursday “The Telegraph”.
Advisors and officials gathered to celebrate the departure of two members of the head of government’s team, Communication Director James Slack and one of Boris Johnson’s personal photographers, the conservative media said.
National mourning period
These new revelations are published as the Prime Minister is fighting to remain at the head of the government after his mea culpa for his presence at a party in Downing Street in full containment in 2020.
This new celebration in Downing Street took place, according to “The Telegraph”, on the eve of the funeral of the husband of Elizabeth II, while the country was in a period of national mourning. The images of the queen, sitting alone in the front row in the church, due to restrictions linked to Covid-19, had then symbolized the rigors of confinement in the United Kingdom.
