Presidential Special Staff Coordinator, Ari Dwipayana spoke about President Joko Widodo’s meeting (Jokowi) and President-Elect Prabowo Subianto at Plataran, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) tonight. Ari said that the two of them always communicate intensely, both formally and informally.
“President Jokowi always maintains close and intense communication with the President-Elect at every opportunity, both in formal forums and informal meetings,” Ari told reporters, Tuesday (8/10/2024).
Ari said the togetherness of the two leaders was very necessary. Bearing in mind, the transition period between the two governments is currently underway.

He said the togetherness was to ensure the transition ran smoothly.
“Togetherness between these two national leaders is very necessary to ensure that the government transition process runs well and smoothly,” he said.
Ari revealed that many things were discussed. Especially regarding the sustainability of the program in the future.
“During dinner various things were discussed, especially regarding the sustainability of government programs in the future,” he said.
Previously, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno confirmed the existence of this agenda.
“Yes, that’s right,” said Pratikno when confirmed, Tuesday (8/10/2024).
Pratikno said the dinner took place behind closed doors. He said the two of them discussed togetherness and the sustainability of the government in the future.
“Private,” he said.
“Togetherness and sustainability,” answered Pratikni when asked what Jokowi and Prabowo discussed.
