United Airlines has two new amenity kits in its repertoire – with exclusive products from wellness brands and locally inspired items.

Around 65,000 United passengers a month can now enjoy new beauty and wellness products on board. On selected routes, United is distributing new amenity kits in Business Class and soon also in First Class press release the airline. Local art, sustainable products and a touch of Hawaii await United passengers.

The new amenity kit in Business Class

For travelers flying United Polaris Business Class, the airline has partnered with Venus Williams-backed wellness brand Asutra to develop new amenity kits. These will now be distributed on the airline’s premium transcontinental routes between its West Coast hubs and the greater New York City area.

The kits contain exclusive, cruelty-free skin care products that are made without parabens, phthalates or petroleum. Each set includes an Asutra facial cleansing towelette, a nourishing lip balm, and a hand lotion enriched with magnesium, mango seed butter, coconut oil, and almond oil. The kit also includes a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, an Asutra eye mask and earplugs.

The new amenity kit in First Class

In addition to premium transcontinental kits, United Airlines plans to introduce new amenity kits for United First Class passengers traveling between the mainland United States and Hawaii. Slated for release later this month, these kits will include skincare products from Hawaiian brand Ua Body, including lip balm, a hand cream and a refreshing face mist with scents like sandalwood, jasmine and coconut. Here, too, local ingredients such as kukui oil and organic Hawaiian sandalwood oil are used. Also included are a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, eye mask and earplugs.

Four new Hawaii amenity kit designs

The Transcontinental and Hawaii Amenity Kits come in reusable bags made from recycled materials. Printed with artwork by local artist Christie Shinn, the Hawaii kits will soon be available in four different designs. According to United, value was placed on sustainable production without animal testing for all products.

Conclusion on the new amenity kits from United

United Airlines continued to improve its service offerings by introducing new passenger amenity kits on premium transcontinental and Hawaiian flights. The cooperation with Asutra and Ua Body focuses on sustainable materials and animal and environmentally friendly production methods. The designs were created by a Hawaiian artist and are intended to unfold the island charm of the popular travel destination on board.
