However, the developers from the BioWare studio emphasized that the latest game will be a great entry point for newcomers as well.
Although the representatives of the game studio have not yet presented the main plot line, it is certain from the trailers for the game that Solas, who has already appeared in the trilogy, is returning. He will apparently be the main villain of the new story.

Dark elven god and hero Rook
Solas is a dark figure. According to some he is an ancient god of the elves, for others he is a traitor and for others the savior of his people. So it is clear from the lines above that his motives are unfathomable. And the methods are debatable to say the least.
The main character of the entire series is Rook, who confronts Solas. The creators from BioWar promise that the new sequel will offer the most extensive character creator, thanks to which we will be able to customize Rook exactly according to our own ideas.
We will monitor his development during the game on the skill tree, up to 50 levels are expected. The hero will gradually find and buy equipment, including weapons and accessories.

In addition to the appearance of the main character, we will be able to choose from three different classes (Warrior, Rogue, Mage) and from six factions. These will influence how other characters in the game react to us, give the main character his life story and also provide specific dialogues.
Within the factions, we will also be able to search for allies on the way to victory.
Seven companions appear in the game. These are random characters that we encounter during individual adventures. They will subsequently accompany Rook throughout the story, with some of whom our protagonist will be able to establish a love relationship.

The world of Thedas and its new parts
Thedas is a vast fantasy world of harsh wilderness, treacherous labyrinths, and glittering cities, located in the southern hemisphere. It is the only known continent. We don’t know much about the other countries, which gives the game a certain air of mystery.
In the latest game, together with the heroes, we can see several new places of this beautiful world. The story itself begins in Minrathous, the capital of the Tevinter Empire, which is one of the oldest cities.
However, the Veilguard title will not have an open world. It will be mission based and very story driven. During the game, however, some parts will open up more, giving players more options. At the same time, the creators do not hide the fact that the latest episode will be the culmination of the entire series.
The game will be released on October 31st for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, and the price will be according to the shopping guide Zboží.cz range from 1799 CZK for the classic version and from 2389 CZK for the deluxe edition. As part of it, game fans will also receive special skins and other bonuses.

If the dragon series is completely new to you, let us remind you of the previous three parts: Dragon Age: Origin (2009), Dragon Age II (2011) and Dragon Age: Inquisition (2014). The diversity of the world was underlined by additional optional expansions and downloadable add-ons.
The individual parts are based on their own stories, and each time the user plays as a different protagonist who has nothing to do with the previous hero. They are united by the fantasy world of Thedas and its secrets, which players gradually uncover during gameplay.
The games are full of magic, ghosts, demons and of course dragons. In addition to them, there are several groups in the world of Thedas that play an important role in the story and world of Dragon Age.
Among the most important are The Chantry (one of the main religious organizations), Mages, Templars, The Gray Wardens (a group of warriors who fight the Darkspawn), The Antivan Crows (an organization of assassins and spies from Antiva), and the Dalish (Elves living a nomadic life).
