Draft beers, hamburgers, the Statue of Liberty, Master Yoda or even a bratwurst typical of St. Gallen: the Christmas decorations in the Lüchinger store are anything but ordinary. The brand offers more than 6,000 different products. Enough to attract customers wishing to embellish their Christmas tree with original decorations.
This is particularly the case with Dora. The septuagenarian traveled the 150 km between Olten and the St. Gallen store to buy one of these products for her granddaughter: “Twenty-four years ago, my sister started giving her grandson one of these unusual Christmas decorations. I decided to do the same thing for my granddaughter,” she smiles. Her choice is a decoration linked to what marked her granddaughter’s year: “She went to McDonald’s so often, so it will be a decoration in the shape of a hamburger,” she rejoices.
“We have customers who come from all over Switzerland and even from abroad,” emphasizes Carmela Lüchinger, general manager of the boutique. To stay competitive, the store is continually expanding its product range, manufactured in a top-quality factory in Poland. Unique decorations that attract adults and children, as well as collectors.
