Unique and strange kumquats grafted on driftwood, priced at VND 80 million

Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Boulevard (Ha Tinh city, Ha Tinh province) these days is filled with colors when all kinds of ornamental plants and flowers are brought for sale by small businesses.Instead of choosing traditional kumquat trees, this year Mr. Nguyen Viet Long (37 years old, from Thach Trung commune, Ha Tinh city) also brought many strange kumquat roots for sale.Mr. Long imported 30 large pots of kumquats with unique and strange shapes.The pots of kumquat wood, or ancient citadel, simple roofs, and ceramic vases are sold for from 20 million VND.Two kumquat trees grafted on driftwood, 3.5m high, were sold by Mr. Long for 80 million VND.These two kumquat roots are planted at two ends of pots regarding 4m wide, in the middle, the driftwood is placed by the worker.According to the seller, this root is grown for regarding 5 years to form a natural shape and posture.Kumquats combined with driftwood create a unique and new beauty.These unique kumquat roots were purchased from Hung Yen and Tu Lien provinces (Tay Ho district, Hanoi).To make these unique works, artisans must be meticulous, spend a lot of time investing in grafting and bending accordingly.
