Yesterday, Union Coop officially announced the launch of its Ramadan campaign to reduce the prices of more than 10,000 basic food and consumer commodities during Ramadan.
The managing director of the Union Coop, Abdullah Muhammad Rafi Al-Dalal, said during the annual conference organized by the cooperative to announce its preparations for the month of Ramadan, that “the cooperative’s Ramadan promotional campaign for the year 2023 is considered one of the exceptional campaigns because it includes discounts on a large number of basic materials and the most consumed by consumers, whether It was food and non-food.
He added that offers and discounts will be launched in all branches of the cooperative and on its website and smart application periodically during the Ramadan campaign that includes all commodities, including food and beverages, electronics and household appliances, to meet the increasing demand throughout the month of Ramadan.
Al-Dallal pointed out that the retail sector in the country is witnessing steady growth, as this is evident in the volume of current competition in the markets, and the promotional campaigns that are launched by all outlets, all of which are in the interest of the consumer. He emphasized that the Ramadan cooperative campaign targets all societal groups, takes into account cultural diversities, and provides them with commodities at reasonable prices commensurate with the size of their different budgets, explaining that they are diverse, including what will be at wholesale prices, in addition to discounts of up to 75%.
The auctioneer stated that the campaign is available in all branches and commercial centers that belong to the cooperative, indicating that the campaign continues until the end of Ramadan, for a period of 60 days, with different offers and discounts.
He said that the cooperative is keen to provide the commodities included in the Ramadan offers in large quantities, with high quality and competitive prices, explaining that the promotional offers include basic food and consumer commodities, including rice, poultry, canned food, fruits, vegetables, special Ramadan products and other products and commodities.
He stressed that all discounts in Union Coop will not affect the quality, standards and specifications of the products and commodities included in the campaign, indicating that not compromising quality in exchange for price or reducing prices is one of the most important pillars of the cooperative.
