A woman’s body was found on the coast of Eurwang-ri, Incheon, and the Coast Guard launched an investigation.
According to the Incheon Coast Guard on the 2nd, at around 11:24 a.m. the previous day, a report was filed with the Coast Guard that a person had died near Eulwangri Beach.
The Coast Guard, who were dispatched to the scene, identified the body of a woman washed up on the shore near the beach and salvaged it.
The woman’s body was not severely decomposed, and both the top and bottom were worn.
The Coast Guard plans to request an autopsy to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to confirm the cause of the woman’s death, which has not yet been identified.
A Coast Guard official said, “There was a cell phone among the woman’s belongings, but since it was submerged, we plan to conduct digital forensics.”
