In the summer, the works councils of Bank Austria (BA) and its subsidiaries protested once morest the further reduction of jobs in Austria or their relocation to other countries, but now the same thing is happening anyway. What had already begun back then – the dissolution of Unicredit Services GmbH (UCS), which supplies the BA with IT and communications solutions – is set to end on October 31st. On this day the UCS will be dissolved, at least that is the current schedule. Around 280 employees are affected by the end of the company. UCS GmbH is wholly owned by the Italian Unicredit.
