Football. Unia Skierniewice, the third league team, eliminated the top league Motor Lublin from the Polish Cup. In the regular time, the match ended in a draw 1:1 (1:0), and the promotion was decided by the eleven played better by coach Kamil Socha’s players.
Unica took the lead in penalties after the third series when Caan Caliskaner, the Motor striker, hit the junction of the post and the crossbar. In the fourth round, Wójcik and Sławomir Łapiński probably scored, so when in the last round Kamil Rosa, Motor’s goalkeeper, was defeated by Kamil Sabillo, Unia’s striker, Skierniewice could enjoy the promotion. In the 1/16 finals (scheduled for October 29-31), Unia will face GKS Katowice.
