Ungersheim. A 100% musical weekend at the Ecomuseum

The 14the Folk’estival of the Écomusée d’Alsace will take place on August 27 and 28. A little over twenty groups will perform in the squares and alleys of the museum.

You will be able to discover rare instruments such as the spruce of the Vosges or the theremin. Sophie Mosser will sound her Celtic harp, Café musical will offer Latino and gypsy music, Kitterle should play her almanac of traditional music, while Margot and Rolly will share French songs.

Also to be found during these two days, Jean-Michel Rees (sound explorer), Les Comparses (traditional Rhenish music), We found the keys (70s folk rock), Jean Hurter (citharist), Kerlenn Breizh (music Breton), Fasila Plus, Ritt’zik and Shamrock Session (Irish music), Urtönig (Swiss folk music).

The other participants: Akila, Firletanz, Do Tro Duo, New Common, L’oreille Musicale, Heading West, Épinette des Vosges, Danielle and Jacky and finally the German group Badische Bratwurschtmusig (traditional music from the Black Forest, Bavaria and different country).

In addition to the festival, tales will be told in music during three sessions at 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m.

GO Folk’estival Saturday August 27 and Sunday August 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Ecomusée d’Alsace in Ungersheim. Prices: €16.50 (adult); €11 (child 4-17 years old); free (- 3 years).
