Unexplained hepatitis in children: the European disease agency “concerned”

First reported in Scotland at the end of March, the number of cases recorded worldwide is currently 191 (111 in the United Kingdom, 55 in 12 other European countries, including one in Belgium, 12 in the United States, 12 in Israel and one in Japan), according to the ECDC.
