In Fuissé, in Saône-et-Loire, where the actor of the hit series “Plus belle la vie” owned a house, his neighbors are wondering.
“When you are known like that, you are afraid of what will happen behind you, especially following the Palmade affair,” said an acquaintance of the actor to BFMTV, preferring to remain anonymous.
Another hypothesis: something happened to Marwan Berreni. Was he in an accident? From a bad meeting? All slopes remain open at this time.
A call made the day following the accident
On the evening of August 3, the vehicle rented by the actor collided at 11:10 p.m. with a woman leaving a nightclub in Mâcon, in Saône-et-Loire.

There is nothing to confirm that Marwan Berreni was at the wheel at the time. Only papers belonging to him were found on board the Mercedes, discovered abandoned regarding twenty kilometers from Mâcon, a few days later. Without news, his family declared his disappearance to the gendarmerie on August 13.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the successful actor’s phone made a call on August 4, the day following the accident, early in the followingnoon. At the same time, his bank card was used to pay for a purchase in a nearby bakery. Since then, nothing.
“No one understand”
The actor was “much loved” in the town of Saône-et-Loire, where he regularly came to recharge his batteries, says Louise Colcombet, journalist at Le Parisien, on BFMTV.
“Everyone loves him” in the town, she assures, following going there to meet Marwan Berreni’s entourage.
“I even had a lady who told me: ‘if I see him, I won’t report him’,” she smiles.
This disappearance “surprises those close to him”, continues the journalist, while the young man is seen “as friendly” and without “problems”. “Why leave his parents, who he cares deeply regarding, in the unknown? (…) Nobody understands,” she reports.
