Many of the common symptoms of many health problems are similar to some of the symptoms of different types of cancer, so if the symptoms do not go away with treatment, you should visit your doctor and get tests and x-rays.

“Consulto” reviews some symptoms that many do not expect to be associated with cancer, according to the website “WebMD”.

Unexpected symptoms of cancer

1- bloating

The feeling of fullness and bloating may be due to diet or even stress, but if it does not improve, and is also accompanied by a feeling of fatigue, weight loss, or back pain, pelvic and ovarian examinations should be performed in women.

2- Difficulty swallowing

Colds, acid reflux, or taking certain medications can make swallowing difficult, but if the condition does not improve with time or with taking antacids, see your doctor.

Sometimes, a swallowing problem is also a sign of cancer in the throat or esophagus, so the doctor performs exams and tests such as a barium X-ray, in which a person swallows a chalky liquid to show their throat more clearly in the image.

3- Acidity and indigestion

Almost everyone feels heartburn and heartburn due to diet or stress, but if lifestyle changes, diet, and medications don’t stop the problem, you might want to see your doctor for some tests and check for stomach cancer.

4- Fever

Fever is not a bad thing, but just a sign that the body is fighting an infection. It can also be a side effect of some medications. If it does not go away and has no apparent cause, it may become a sign of a blood cancer such as leukemia or lymphoma.

5- Extreme fatigue

Lots of things contribute to making a person very tired, but fatigue is one of the early signs of some cancers, such as leukemia, colon and stomach cancers, that cause blood loss that can’t be seen, causing you to feel very tired.
