BUENOS AIRES, March 23 (Archyde.com) – Argentina’s unemployment rate fell to 7.0% in the fourth quarter of 2021, from 11% in the same period a year earlier and 8.2% in the previous quarter, reported on Wednesday the official statistics entity, Indec.
The data comes at a time when Latin America’s third-largest economy is suffering from high inflation as it leaves behind a prolonged recession aggravated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
