You have probably already noticed that colds, flus, and other winter joys are very present at the moment, to the point that Belgium has gone “code orange”. Which means that wearing a mask is again recommended in hospitals or health establishments.

This code orange into which Belgium has fallen, should we be worried?
The answer is no. This code is purely the mathematical expression of a whole series of criteria which, because of what we experienced during Covid, were monitored during the winter period. We thus arrive at the moment where the sum of these criteria forces us to move from code yellow to code orange. This code advises to ventilate well, to wear a mask in hospitals or to wear it if you cough or feel weak.
You should not be worried, the situation is linked to the increase in cases of flu and Covid is decreasing significantly.
