For Moscow, the cause is understood: Switzerland has no longer been neutral since February 28, 2022. That is to say since Berne took over the European Union (EU) sanctions intended to break the Russian war machine. If it is no longer neutral, Switzerland no longer has the vocation to be a mediator in a conflict, add Russian diplomats. This is why they are brushing aside Ignazio Cassis’ initiative for the organization of a global summit for peace in Ukraine.
