It also included a contract with (Denel SOC Ltd, trading as Denel Dynamics) in South Africa to provide technical support for aircraft systems with a total value of more than 5.597 million dirhams. This year’s edition, in which 134 companies from 26 countries around the world participated, including 7 countries participating for the first time, witnessed exceptional and unprecedented growth, as the space allocated to exhibiting companies increased by 25%, while new companies participating for the first time accounted for 36% of the total Exhibitors, while national companies represent 29% of the total exhibitors participating in the fifth edition of the two exhibitions. The live performances that are held in the Sweihan Hills area, which are one of the main events of the two exhibitions, have multiplied, and the number of advanced systems participating in them has increased remarkably, as these shows are set to witness the unveiling of 22 new technologies and innovative systems that have not been previously disclosed. In a remarkable development that embodies the keenness of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) to support entrepreneurship in vital sectors, the fifth edition of UMEX and SimTEX 2022 will witness the launch of the UMEX and SimTEX platform for emerging companies specialized in the sector, which aims To empower these companies and highlight their innovations in the field.
