The deals included a deal with the International Golden Group to purchase unmanned aircraft systems worth 10 million dirhams, and another deal with Global Aerospace Logistics to provide technical support, maintenance, repair and spare parts services, with a value of more than 639 million dirhams. It also included a contract with (Denel SOC Ltd, trading as Denel Dynamics) in South Africa to provide technical support for aircraft systems with a total value of more than 5.597 million dirhams. This year’s edition, in which 134 companies from 26 countries around the world participated, including 7 countries participating for the first time, witnessed exceptional and unprecedented growth, as the space allocated to exhibiting companies increased by 25%, while new companies participating for the first time accounted for 36% of the total Exhibitors, while national companies represent 29% of the total exhibitors participating in the fifth edition of the two exhibitions. The live performances that are held in the Sweihan Hills area, which are one of the main events of the two exhibitions, have multiplied, and the number of advanced systems participating in them has increased remarkably, as these shows are set to witness the unveiling of 22 new technologies and innovative systems that have not been previously disclosed.
