Preparations have begun for the next Ramadan season 2023, which will be in March, and the next season will witness the presence of a number of Syrian works for competition between the social and historical works of the Levantine environment.

Among the works that have booked a place for it in the upcoming Ramadan season, and it is expected to achieve great success, is the series “Under the Ashes”, written by Hazem Suleiman and directed by Amer Fahd.
The work, whose filming moved from the Syrian capital, Damascus, to the Lebanese capital, Beirut, recently deals with the issue of religious coexistence and the period of extremism in all its forms entering Syria from outside the country.
The work is scheduled to deal with the time period in 1994 in which extremist ideology spread and affected the course of life in Syria during that period.
Among the names that have been contracted for the action championship until this moment is the Algerian artist Amal Bouchoucha, who became famous as an actress in the Syrian drama.
In the previous Ramadan season, Bouchoucha presented the series “On a Hot Tin” alongside Bassem Yakhour, Milad Youssef, Salloum Haddad and others, written by Ali Wajih and Yamen Al-Hijali and directed by Saif Al-Subaie.
The Syrian artist Ahmed Al-Ahmad, who appeared in the last Ramadan season in the Egyptian drama, is also participating in the work, through the character “The Terrorist Sayyaf” in the series “The Returners”, which co-starred Amir Karara, Amina Khalil, Muhammad Farraj and others.
And the artist Abdel Moneim Amairi, who proved himself in the last period in the Arab world and presented many distinguished roles, including his role in the series “An Unknown Record” through the character of Samir, a role that helped him spread in the Arab world, so that Sadiq Al-Sabah contracted with him and presented a Wadi’ role in the famous series of prestige to Along with Tim Hassan, he participated in the last Ramadan season in the series “Shadow” with the character of Jalal.
Among the names that were contracted for the action championship was the artist, Samia Al-Jazaery, whose appearance in the second part of the series “Salon Zahra”, and recently shown on the “Watch” platform, sparked a state of controversy due to the role that does not fit her history.
Among the names participating in the work is the Syrian artist Fayez Kazak, who was present in the Ramadan season 2022 in the series “Kasr al-Azm” with the character of al-Hakim, and the work achieved remarkable success as it dealt with corruption issues in Syria.
And some sources revealed that there are many vacant figures in the work that have not yet been settled to be presented.
