Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – One of the most famous hotel companies in the United States is close to establishing a new $3.7 billion resort in Las Vegas!
It is noteworthy that the resort has been under construction for 23 years.
Fontainebleau Las Vegas will be the sister property to Fontainebleau Miami Beach, a sprawling landmark that opened in 1954.
The Las Vegas location is scheduled to open Dec. 13 on 25 acres on the north end of the district.
Its huge, sparkling facade will be visible from the northernmost corners of the Formula 1 race track that will circle Sin City next month.

The 3,644-room resort represents the culmination of a 23-year journey, with Jeffrey Soffer, Chairman and CEO of Fontainebleau Development, purchasing the plot of land in 2000.
Construction of the hotel began in 2007, but was halted the following year due to the economic recession.
Finally, a series of deals revived the project just before the pandemic hit.
Soffer and Fontainebleau Development, in partnership with Koch Real Estate Investments, reacquired the property in 2021 and embarked on plans to finish what they started.

Luxury suites
While every resort in Las Vegas offers upscale suites for the biggest gamblers, the upscale suites at Fontainebleau promise a new level of elegance, according to an exclusive report obtained by CNN earlier this week.
The suites will offer stunning views of the Strip and the entire Las Vegas Valley.
Other notable features in some suites include pool tables, wellness rooms, and custom Italian bedding.
Brett Mufson, president of Fontainebleau Development, said the Fleur de Lis collection offers a “six-star experience” and is tailored to suit individual preferences, creating a feeling of home away from home for each guest.
Advertised prices for Fleur de Lis suites start at $5,000 per night, while regular room prices start at $300 per night.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas takes an unconventional approach to its 36 restaurants and bars.
The resort has partnered with Groot Hospitality to bring LIV nightclub at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, and other local restaurants, such as Komodo and Papi Steak, to Las Vegas.

There are many other attractions at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
Among them is the 55,000-square-foot Lapis Spa, designed by Lissoni & Partners, in Milan.
The Las Vegas resort will consist of 44 treatment rooms, a purifying salt cave, an infrared therapeutic sauna, and a mixed sensory room with shared therapeutic waters.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas has made headlines for some of its entertainment bookings.
Earlier this month, the resort announced that singer Post Malone will open the 3,800-seat BleauLive Theater with shows on December 30 and December 31.
