Caleb Desnoyers will ultimately not be the only Quebecer to represent Canada at the next World Under-18 Hockey Championship.

Hockey Canada announced on Monday the addition of five players to its roster, including Chicoutimi Saguenéens forward Maxim Massé. Goalkeeper Jack Ivankovic (Mississauga), forward Ollie Josephson (Red Deer) and defenders Henry Mews and Frankie Marrelli (Ottawa) were also added by the national team which was waiting to know the identity of the teams eliminated across the League Canadian Hockey League (CHL) before adding names to its roster.

In 67 games this season in Chicoutimi, Massé, who is considered Quebec’s best hope for the next NHL draft, scored 75 points. His Saguenéens suffered elimination in the second round of the QMJHL playoffs once morest the Cape Breton Eagles. In eight playoff games, he scored six points including three goals.
